Do you have a story and photo you would like to share about your DCC adopted kitten or cat?
We're looking for some laughs, maybe some tears, how they have changed your life, how they have touched your heart.  We will post your photo and story on our home page to share with

Paw-Paws (also known as Paws-big feet for a tiny kitten, PutterPaws & Slinky-due to her sleek shiny body) is a lovely female Tuxedo  kitten (approx 11 mos old) who birthed Abigail on July 1st, 2010. The name Paws came about as she had big feet as a tiny kitten-now she is petite and brother Mouse is a horse!  Recently spayed, she has resumed her purring, playing and wanting petted. Not too keen on being held very much/long yet, but believe that would change if she wasn’t in such a feline filled household (we have 5 of our own).
Paws let me hand feed but not pet on her until she was almost due (got with child 1st heat) then turned into a love machine 1 week prior to birthing 1 tiny 3.1 oz kitten (Abigail) in our shower, and was/is a great momma cat.  She has been an inside kitty since then and adapted quite readily. They both get along well w/our other cats-5of them-reason can't keep her and Abigail!
Paws has a beautiful triangular shaped head-she’s very elegant with big yellow eyes. She’s still small and I don’t think she will be a big cat (6.4 lbs) Black body, white paws, white muzzle w/black under her nose and chin, white underbelly. Long and lean, she’s a really pretty, sweet puss, a little shy as she was not socialized early, but now sleeps with us, wants her morning loving, lets you know when she’s hungry-loves her dried kitten chow-and wants petted any time someone gets near her.
I think she will turn out to be a very lovey cat once she gets used to her new person-ESPECIALLY if Abigail goes with her as they are very close, sleep together often, play great together running all over the house!  Paws is still a little shy when strangers come in, but has gotten better every time a new face shows up. As long as she has her ‘safe spot’, her hut, I feel she will do fine with patience and affection!

Our wish is that they go together to their forever home as Paws has not really known any other humans except us, and Abigail loves people and we feel that would help Paws acclimate to her new home!
We have given them both loads of attention so they will be able to accept love from others, all we ask is patience in letting them  get used to new people, sights and sounds. They both love sitting in/looking out windows at the birds & people, and sleeping on the sunny sills (we have wide sills just for cats).

Paws and Abby really really want to go together to their 4ever home as Abigail will be the bonding /socializing agent for the 2 of them while they get used to their new people and surroundings.
They will come to their forever home with their vet papers & tags, favorite foods, toys, sleeping hut (Paws), scratching pads, play cube (Abigail), and anything else I’ve forgotten to list.
