Do you have a story and photo you would like to share about your DCC adopted kitten or cat? We're looking for some laughs, maybe some tears, how they have changed your life, how they have touched your heart. We will post your photo and story on our home page to share with all of our visitors. Maybe you'll inspire someone to share their life with a homeless cat.
Nathan surrendered to DCC along with his four littermates so that they all could find good homes. Nathan is a friendly kitten who loves attention. While Nathan may act like a normal kitten, we noticed that he wasn’t growing and developing like his littermates. Recently we found out that Nathan has a virus called feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). This virus is typically fatal, and Nathan is only expected to live six months. Nathan will remain with his foster mom and receive all the love and attention he could ever want.
**UPDATE: Nathan passed away peacefully on 10/9/2013, but please consider making a donation to help our other special needs cats and kittens.
