This story was written by the family that found the cat:
The Queen of Sheba: Following the sounds of persistent meowing after a late night church board meeting, we found this kitty stranded up a big cedar tree at our church. For 3 days we tried to coax her down. We called the fire dept, police and SPCA, but no one could help. The SPCA told us there was a tree service that would rescue cats but there would be a fee. On the third day the kitty wasn't crying much anymore nor moving about, so we called the tree service and they did a wonderful job, calming her first then scooping her up and bringing her down to earth. Much to our surprise she is a very loving gentle cat. The next day she started sneezing so we took her to the vet. He said the exposure and stress of being up the tree in the cold and windy weather without food or water was the cause of the URI. The vet gave her emergency care, and said she was in good health and about 1 year old. She is totally recovered from her nightmare and is looking for someone to give her a home. This kitty loves to snuggle and will nuzzle about your neck and face when she wants affection. She is very playful and also likes to watch birds out the window. She will make someone a wonderful companion. We were able to give her foster care but cannot keep her and hope some loving family will adopt her. She doesn't have an official name but since we found her at our church, we thought Sheba was somewhat appropriate because she is a beauty and a real seductress. But you can give her any name you like.
