Do you have a story and photo you would like to share about your DCC adopted kitten or cat? We're looking for some laughs, maybe some tears, how they have changed your life, how they have touched your heart. We will post your photo and story on our home page to share with all of our visitors. Maybe you'll inspire someone to share their life with a homeless cat.
Shaak Ti (aka Cali Cocoa) is a lovely senior lady looking for a new forever home. Life was very good for Shaak Ti until her family had to move and were unable to take her with them. She was accepted into the Delmarva Cat Connection foster care program and has made great strides in adjusting to her new surroundings. Although it took her a while to be comfortable around so many unfamiliar cats, she is doing very well now. Her daily exercise program includes some fun time chasing the laser light all around the room. She prefers not to be picked up, but gladly hops up on to her foster daddy's lap for some quality time watching TV together. And when bedtime rolls around she snuggles under the covers for a good night's sleep. Please make sure that she is kept current with flea medication because she did come into our foster care program with fleas and seemed to have an allergic reaction to them. She is in good health and doing very well. Can you find room in your heart and your home for Shaak Ti?
