Ivan was living at Worcester County Animal Control, but he needed help.  When he was brought in, Ivan was dragging his left foot which had an open wound.  Eventually Ivan made his way to a foster home with Delmarva Cat Connection.  The vet x-rayed the leg and foot, and it wasn’t broken.  Instead, Ivan had suffered nerve damage.  Unfortunately, even after two weeks of rest, the nerve has not healed.  Ivan will need to undergo surgery to have his leg removed.  Right now we are waiting for Ivan to get a little stronger for his surgery, but overall, he has a great spirit.   Please consider making a small donation to help cover the expernse of his surgery, which is expected to cost around $400.
